No Animal Testing
*Why are some cosmetics tested on animals? Because they are synthetic and are NOT made with natural ingredients.
If you are purchasing from us or using natural ingredients there is no animal testing done on these ingredients.
One of the only reasons animal testing occurs at all is because cosmetic companies want to continuously synthesize new products with newly designed synthetic chemicals. Since these chemicals are artificially designed in laboratories, their effect on human beings (or any organic specimen for that matter) is largely unknown, and therefore they must be tested.
The main reason animal testing is done at all is because synthetic chemicals are not organic or natural. They are essentially brand new chemical formulations.
Safety testing is required on these synthetic chemicals to look at the possible toxic or genetic effects they might have on human beings, both short and long-term. By committing to using natural ingredients and formulations, animal testing is not required, not necessary and not done.
This is because nature provides us with natural (food grade) ingredients that can be safely applied
to the skin and meet the standards as GRAS per FDA guidelines without any animal testing needed.

Rose Water has natural calming properties that cools and hydrates dry skin. Our Rose Water is very refreshing, especially for the face and leaves the skin feeling amazing, radiant and dewy.
Rose water is created during the distillation process of creating a hydrosol. Floral waters are also referred to as hydrolats.
Botanical waters are a Hybrid between a Plant Extract and a Hydrolsol or Hydrolat.
They contain only 3 ingredients. Plant matter, water, and an All-Natural preservative system.
Their color can range from almost clear to dark in color depending on the amount of natural pigment in the plant material. Although they are not intended for use as an aromatherapy component, many of them have wonderful and unique aromas.
The primary use for these botanical waters is to impart their botanical phytochemical components into a formulation. They can be used as a stand-alone ingredient such as a body mist or blended into formulations as a water-based ingredient.
Because each Botanical Water is unique, it is strongly recommended you order a small quantity for R & D purposes prior to ordering bulk quantities. Due to the degradation that occurs when natural products are exposed to light, all products should be stored and sold in opaque containers.
Suggested Cosmetic Uses: Rose Flower Water can be used in skin and hair care products for the scent, the color or the natural rose properties.
