We have created a luxurious butter which is a soft-solid yet melts on contact with the skin.

Jojoba Butter is derived from natural golden Jojoba Oil pressed from the seeds of the desert shrub Simmondsia Chinensis. Jojoba Butter contains monounsaturated long chain C20, C22 fatty acids with a relative high content of eicosenoic acid. After a specific light hydrogenation process, those monohydric ester waxes offer higher oxidative stability with an exceptional smooth and elegant feeling on the skin.

Jojoba Butter contains natural tocopherols to help minimize lipid peroxidation. The resultant “butter” is a beautiful golden yellow color with a slight nutty odor typical of Jojoba.

Shelf Life

Skincare is food for the skin.

The two goals of fresh and natural, mean a natural product should be fresh and a fresh product should be natural. The normal anticipated shelf life of a natural product is about 1 year from the date of purchase from the manufacturer. The actual shelf life of the product may be longer or shorter depending on how the product is altered, changed, stored, packaged and handled before sale to the final consumer. If ingredients are added to our bases and stock products, you’ll want to consider if they will shorten or change the shelf life and stability of the product.

In general, it is up to the company that is selling to the final consumer to determine the anticipated shelf life of the product. Currently the FDA does not require expiration dates on cosmetics or skincare products. Consider being conservative about expiration time frames and encouraging the consumer to use up the product while it is fresh (3-6 months) or discard it after the time frame has pasted.

It is the responsibility of the customer to conduct appropriate research and development on the use and safety of each item they order before retailing this item to the final consumer.

Container cracked in transit

I notified Texas Natural Supply about the damage by the shipper and they replaced the item to me and filled a claim, It took a few days to get the replacement but the customer service was so helpful and responsive. Thank YOU!!!
