We have created a luxurious butter which is a soft-solid yet melts on contact with the skin.

Hemp seed butter is made by combining the fatty fractions and unsaponifiables of cold pressed hemp seed oil. The butter is exceptionally rich in essential fatty acids that nourish the skin and helps reduce moisture loss from the skin.

Hemp Seed Butter provides excellent lubricity.

Cosmetic Use: The recommended usage rate for hemp seed butter is 5-10% in most formulations but it can also be used at 100% pure for lip or body balm. Use hemp seed butter in creams, lotions, soaps, lip balms and other formulations.

Shelf Life

Skincare is food for the skin.

The two goals of fresh and natural, mean a natural product should be fresh and a fresh product should be natural. The normal anticipated shelf life of a natural product is about 1 year from the date of purchase from the manufacturer. The actual shelf life of the product may be longer or shorter depending on how the product is altered, changed, stored, packaged and handled before sale to the final consumer. If ingredients are added to our bases and stock products, you’ll want to consider if they will shorten or change the shelf life and stability of the product.

In general, it is up to the company that is selling to the final consumer to determine the anticipated shelf life of the product. Currently the FDA does not require expiration dates on cosmetics or skincare products. Consider being conservative about expiration time frames and encouraging the consumer to use up the product while it is fresh (3-6 months) or discard it after the time frame has pasted.

It is the responsibility of the customer to conduct appropriate research and development on the use and safety of each item they order before retailing this item to the final consumer.

Haven't used this product yet. I expect it to be as good as the oil and look forward to making an absorbent whipped mixture for my skin.
