We have created a unique, 100% all natural Shea Aloe - Whipped Emulsion that you can customize for your market and offer to your customers that will meet all your requirements.
This all Natural product is made with approximately equivalent amounts of shea butter and aloe vera resulting in a whipped butter type product that has emulsion properties. Unlike an all oil product it can be easily incorporated into formulations that contain water components. This product will lends a high gloss sheen and a non-greasy slip to your product.
It is wonderful for body butters, creamy lip balms, creams, lotions, lotion bars, bath bombs and more.
When formulating add hydrous or anyhdrous mixtures by gently warming all ingredients to no more than 132°F (55°C). This is to to avoid complete separation of the emulsion yet allow you to and blend them. Mix until the temperature returns to about 90 degrees and the emulsion bond has completely reformed. You should have a buttery, yet fluffy/creamy product.
When adding to a hot process emulsion (lotions and creams), this Shea Aloe Whipped emulsion can simply be added to the oil phase and processed as usual up to 176°F (80°C). The product will re-emulsify when the oil and water phases are combined and cooled.
Since this is an emulsion you can add clays, compounds oils and herbs ... the possibilities are only limited by your need or imagination.
This can be used as a stand alone product undiluted.
