We have created a luxurious butter which is a soft-solid yet melts on contact with the skin.

This pure Argan Butter is made with our Argan Oil and is a wonderful addition to your cosmetic applications or can be used as-is. Having all the amazing properties of Argan Oil makes it a preferred butter by our customers.

Argan Oil is an oil produced from the kernels of the argan tree, endemic to Morocco, that is valued for its cosmetic properties. The tree, a relict species from the Tertiary age, is extremely well adapted to drought and other environmentally difficult conditions of southwestern Morocco.

Argan Oil possesses a remarkable ability to nourish, moisturize and improve skin elasticity. The oil is high in lipids including the omega-9 oleic acid and the omega-6 linoleic acid. Its high polyphenol content makes it a strong anti-oxidant and adds to its stable shelf life. Argan oil is exceptionally rich in natural tocopherols (vitamin E), rich in phenols and phenolic acid, carotenes, squalene, essential fatty acids, unsaturated fatty acids and vitamins A, B1, B2, and B6.

Cosmetic Uses: Argan Oil can be used on the skin to help offset effects of weather by keeping it properly hydrated. It is most often used on the hair, nails, face and body.

Shelf Life

Skincare is food for the skin.

The two goals of fresh and natural, mean a natural product should be fresh and a fresh product should be natural. The normal anticipated shelf life of a natural product is about 1 year from the date of purchase from the manufacturer. The actual shelf life of the product may be longer or shorter depending on how the product is altered, changed, stored, packaged and handled before sale to the final consumer. If ingredients are added to our bases and stock products, you’ll want to consider if they will shorten or change the shelf life and stability of the product.

In general, it is up to the company that is selling to the final consumer to determine the anticipated shelf life of the product. Currently the FDA does not require expiration dates on cosmetics or skincare products. Consider being conservative about expiration time frames and encouraging the consumer to use up the product while it is fresh (3-6 months) or discard it after the time frame has pasted.

It is the responsibility of the customer to conduct appropriate research and development on the use and safety of each item they order before retailing this item to the final consumer.

So far, I love everyone of these butters!

I've tried quite a few now, I melt and mix with the SheAloe cream base and some other goodies and make it into a creamy body butter that smells and feels amazing!
