Calendula Flowers (Calendula officinalis), also known as Pot Marigold and English Marigold, is a plant in the Calendula genus.
It was used in ancient Greek, Roman, Arabic and Indian cultures as a dye for fabrics and cosmetics.
Calendula Petals can also be used to naturally color soaps and other products various shades of yellow.
Many colorants may be pH sensitive and can change or morph at high or low pH levels.
