No Animal Testing
*Why are some cosmetics tested on animals? Because they are synthetic and are NOT made with natural ingredients.
If you are purchasing from us or using natural ingredients there is no animal testing done on these ingredients.
One of the only reasons animal testing occurs at all is because cosmetic companies want to continuously synthesize new products with newly designed synthetic chemicals. Since these chemicals are artificially designed in laboratories, their effect on human beings (or any organic specimen for that matter) is largely unknown, and therefore they must be tested.
The main reason animal testing is done at all is because synthetic chemicals are not organic or natural. They are essentially brand new chemical formulations.
Safety testing is required on these synthetic chemicals to look at the possible toxic or genetic effects they might have on human beings, both short and long-term. By committing to using natural ingredients and formulations, animal testing is not required, not necessary and not done.
This is because nature provides us with natural (food grade) ingredients that can be safely applied
to the skin and meet the standards as GRAS per FDA guidelines without any animal testing needed.
Our CBD Cream Base has one of the highest CBD ratios for Skincare Bases offered. Our CBD Bulk Bases are formulated using a Broad-spectrum CBD that contains the various compounds, cannabinoids, phytochemicals and flavonoids from the cannabis plant. These include cannabichromene, cannabinol, and terpenes ( such as myrcene, limonene, or pinene).
Each Base is formulated with a 5% buffer of Broad Spectrum CBD oil. This allows bases to be modified by 5% without the final product dropping below the listed CDB mg/oz. Depending on the type of base, oil and or water-based ingredients can be added to give these CBD Broad Spectrum base formulations additional unique properties.
Options include some of the Highest CBD ratios for Bulk Bases available including: 75 mg/oz, 150 mg/oz, 300 mg/oz, 600 mg/oz and 1200 mg/oz.
Recommended Modification Tolerances:
Do not exceed more than 5% of the total additional ingredients in order to maintain the CBD mg/oz ratio. 1% - 4% Water-Based Ingredients. 1% - Oil-Based Ingredients
FYI:
Oil base formulations (Butters, Lip balms) can only have oil based ingredients added (Oils and Waxes)
Water- based formulations (Serums and Gels) can only have water based ingredients added. (Water, Plant Extracts, Aloe vera, Vegetable Glycerin and Powders that have been reconstituted with water)
Emulsions (Lotions and Creams) can accept both oil or water based ingredients.

Moisturizing Base - CBD Oil has been specifically formulated to provide maximum
moisturizing without leaving an oily residue. It is great for deep moisturizing and contains twice as much Shea as our Cream Base 1 making it richer, thicker and ideal for mature, dry skin. This all-natural Extra Moisturizing Base with it's thick,
rich consistency allows you to add additional ingredients and nutrients
without significantly thinning the base.
It can be thinned it to the
consistency preferred for a lotion and while adding additional
ingredients and nutrients to make it a unique product.
