Dragon's Blood ( Sanguis dranconis ) resin is valued as a medicine in Europe because of its astringent properties. It is a rattan palm native to Malaysia and Indonesia.
Dragon's Blood Tincture is made by steeping chunks of dragon's blood resin in high grade alcohol for over six months. The scent is faintly sweet and musky.
Dragon's Blood is also used as an incense.
